There are many recorded and detailed kyusho points but we should always be aware of their practical use under the adrenalin charged chaos of a real live encounter. It is for this reason that it is probably best to concentrate on just a small number and adapt a kata centered training regime, using the bunkai to exploit these kyusho points.

A sound knowledge of the kyusho points can prove to be a valuable asset in any self-defense situation. However, one must be aware of the severe consequences that could result in attacking some kyusho points on the human body, and the accountability that would result from this action.
